This was just our very first trip all the way down to mile marker zero in Key West. Everything is so casual and fun in this city, no need to dress up for lunch and dinner. You can just stop at a myriad of places like the Southernmost Cuban Cafe, we loved the quick food-to-go here. This city is not about reservations, only fun places that your group picks to try. Sample as much as you can in this town.

South Florida Restaurants we love for Cuban Food
They serve really good cuban sandwiches here. There are a whole group of Cuban Restaurants in the Florida Keys and Miami that are just amazing. These are the menu items that keeps me smiling: 1 Sandwich Cubano (classic cuban sandwich) 2 Picadillo a la Criolla (spicy style ground beef) 3 Vaca Frita (sauteed shredded flank steak) 4 Sandwich de Pollo (grilled chicken steak on cuban bread) 5 and Bistec Picado (sirloin steak strips).

Best Key West Hot Pastrami Sandwich
Ana's is very good, no doubt, plus the patio cafe style outdoor seating is excellent. I know the spot for the best Key West Hot Pastrami Sandwich. Yes, Goldman's Deli makes it the old fashion way, and it is spicy and oh so delicious (homemade bread, bagels, and potato salad). Find it as part of the Overseas Market Plaza.

Where to go for really good Key West Sandwiches?
Very good sandwiches and nice for breakfast or lunch. The southernmost point area is really sweet. One of the very best spots in town here, is the bar and restaurant Irish Kevin's on Duval. One thing I love is they start music early in the day, around noon. Oh, and the sandwiches. They serve hand carved sandwiches: roast beef, corned beef, and smoked turkey. This town has the best food.
