Docking up at JJ's Big Chill Bar
The Big Chill has a nice area for one to dock up to the restaurant. Come in on the bayside, the building is easy to spot even at night. Just tie the boat up and head on in. Nothing beats hitting the bars of Key Largo by boat at night. Further to the southwest, try Bayside Grille or Breezer's Bar.

Walk over to the Sundowner Restaurant
The live music and boat parking is plentiful at the Big Chill Restaurant. We also like Sundowners Menu. My seafood picks there are the Blackened Tuna Caesar Salad for the starter. Blackfin tuna fish blackened with spices, red onions, romaine, housemade croutons and caesar dressing. Start health and end healthy, as you will love the Shrimp Ka Bang, lightly battered and fried shrimp.

Please no hidden charges if you share
I like the restaurant, but watch your bill. The wanted to charge $5 for sharing, but it was my girl friend that was on a diet. She just said that see did not want anything and that she would just have a few bites on mine and the waitress turned that into a five dollar charge, so there went her tip.

My Vote is for the Chicken Wrap
We went here four times during our week vacation stay at the Tarpon Flats Inn & Marina. It is a great bar, and just happens to be right down the street from Tarpon Flats (29 Shoreland Drive, Mile Marker 103.5). It takes about one minute to get to the restaurant from the hotel. Loved the chicken wrap.

Home of the Key West Smoothie
We really enjoy the swimming pool bar they have at the far end of the complex. For drinks, go with the Key West Smoothie: Tropical blend of rum alcohol, strawberries, bananas, pineapples, grenadine, key lime juice, coconut cream & pineapple juice. In Miami Beach we have the smoothie king which they need bad in Key Largo.

Margaritas with a Waterfront View
The intercoastal waterway system is well marked as you navigate up or down the bayside. Even at night using a Q-Beam when needed. Love the pitcher of margaritas and veggie lovers pizza pie.
