Racing Fans hit Key West!

How fast can a group of people push a bed right down main street duval? This is one of the more zany things to do on the islands. If you can fit this into your travel plans, expect the event to make your day. It is not the speed, rather it is the outfits that people find so impressive.

When is the best time to vacation to the Florida Keys?
Late April is such a good time of year for this event. You cannot beat the weather this time of year, so we try to book our trip down then. Very fun and most of the bars have beer specials. The kick off party is good to see and the conch blowing contest.

See ya at the Finish Line
They say this is one of the city's oldest events. I guess you could do this way back before they had electricity on the island. It is certainly one of the better if not the most famous event. Started at Fleming and went all the way down to the 801 Bourbon Bar.
