Quicksilver In-Water Ladder is Excellent
Getting in and off the boat to go on a reef snorkel can be a tricky operation. One of the things the the crew will explain is about how to deal with the moving water and ladder system. Knowing how to use the in-water ladder is important, so you do not trip or fall.
What about the good dive sites in Key Largo? Our trips are booked around one of the events in Key West. We like to stop on the way down and go snorkeling in the Upper Keys. Here are some of the better dive sites off the coast of Key Largo: 1 USCG Bibb (Football field long ship sunk but flipped to starboard side, with a deeper profile than the nearby USCG Duane) 2 Pickles Reef (Loaded with marine life and in only 10-25 feet) 3 Davey Crocker Reef (Medium depth 15-30 feet path reef with plenty of action for underwater sightseeing).
Easy Reef Trips for Beginners The ride in and out of Key Largo Harbor is outstanding, they play music along the way. Probably the most exciting part is walking down the ladder, sitting, and then putting your fins on at the bottom. Wow, great times.
