CHALLENGER CHARTERS
Welcome to the Big Fish
There is always something great happening out on the water, a fishing outing is just too fantastic not to do on each trip down. We used to go to Key West (party boat are big there), and now save the time from driving down and do our fishing and watersports here in Islamorada. If you want to catch lots of keepers, this is the hot spot for your fresh catch fillets. Take your catch to the Island Grill for cooking after.

Florida Keys Seafood with a View
What a great way to enjoy the day and when you catch some keepers, then you know you have dinner. I like to take the fresh catch, usually mahi-mahi, and make a giant salad. My favorite is Oriental Mahi Salad. This recipe calls for teriyaki marinated mahi fish layered over spicy noodles, crisp greens, red bell peppers, balsamic vinaigrette, sweet chili dressing, green onions, wonton chips and toasted sesame seeds. It is a sweet mix.

Monster Tarpon in the flats and channels
What is neat about the area is even windy days there is fishing, although lighter winds are best. Inshore fishing has it all, including the Tarpon...see them zip, pull, and even jump. When the jump you see them shaking their heads so abruptly...It is a special show.
