Key facts about Upper Keys hotel selection
I like being on the docks, it is fun and more playful that a lot of the resorts. Being close to the bars and beer is nice. You do give up the sunsets on this side, so keep that in mind. If you stay bayside, the hotels allow you to easily dump in your kayak or use the ones offered for free at the hotel.

Downtown Key Largo Hotels
Certainly this is one of the better hotels here in the Upper Florida Keys. Also close by is the Marriott, Holiday Inn, and the Bayside Inn (right at the traffic light). Being next to the Central Park is a big plus too.
