It starts early here, as you can get a yummy breakfast. We like to get our stuff to take out on the boat. Everything is delicious, as the Doo continues on through lunch and the deli market has traditionally closed around 6pm. You can even split the giant sandwiches (tuna is outstanding) and share it for two.

My Favorite Little Island Sandwich Shop
One thing you will need in the keys is a good restaurant for take-out sandwiches. They are great for the boat and road trips down the Overseas Highway. You get plenty of menu options and they load them up. My menu picks: Hammy Sandwich (Smoked ham, swiss cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, fat-free mayo, vinaigrette) Club Sandwich (Grilled chicken, tomato, lettuce, bacon, fat-free mayo, on lightly browned wheat bread) and the classic Turkey Cobb Sandwich (Smoked turkey, avocado, swiss cheese, bacon, tomato, lettuce, blue cheese, fat-free italian dressing). For dine-in, go with Ziggie's.

We love the granola, which makes the perfect human chum! There is a bunch of healthy options so we can save a few calories for afternoon beer.
