Fun Part of the Island

So thrilling is an opportunity to get your picture smiling next to the end of the rainbow sign! We have seen groups of 30 or more people surround this sign and take pictures, like high school groups from out of town. Notice how shady the area is between here and Mallory Square. Pop into the Banyan Resort, as you may want to stay there on your next visit. Take note of the post office, across the street, where they have a quick 24/7 letter drop off. We take our postcards there and pop them in the box for our relatives back home.

Do try a Key West Sunset Ale!
Right over there on Caroline Street is the Porch Bar. That is the spot for a beer break during your sightseeing pleasure trips. On tap or in the bottle are all the ones to give you the energy and the island vibe. Some of the classics plus more: Busch Beer - Abita Amber (Abita Springs LA Munich style lager) - Olde English 800 - Raspberry Wheat Ale (Bangor ME wheat ale) - Weinhard's Amber Light - Signature Stroh - and oh so good is the beer of the keys...Key West Sunset Ale!

Back Streets Guide to Key West
This street is great for bicycling or walking, and it avoids some of the congestion that you have on the parallel Duval Street. Typically, this is the way we will cross the island heading over towards the southernmost point. They have tennis over there to, a set or two with a view is excellent. The white street pier has really improved, and is all lit up nicely in the evening.
