Spice it up to catch more Fish
You can catch a lot of different fish, try lots of variety when you fish. Cast around the docks, pier pilings, and around any underwater rock or structure. We had a good vacation and mainly got the biggest numbers on Cobia (Excellent to eat and fun to catch, more numerous in cooler months) - Lady Fish (Light spinning tackle focused fish found mostly on backcountry grassy flats) - Sheepshead (Tasty structure focused fish found around bridges and dock pilings).

Fishing Demonstrations at Founders Park
We got some good tips from the local fishing pros over at Island Fest (Founders Park Event). This is a great way to pick these guys for tips, and they have all the bait and lures right there which makes easy to know exactly what to buy. I had to laugh at the Giant Human Hamster Balls the kids were using out on the water. Those are going to sell. Really enjoyed our vacation and the boater friendly Bay View Inn.

Sign me up for a Charter
Many of these areas are ecologically sensitive and the pole really comes in handy. It gets you to the very hard to access zones that are the most scenic. Thanks for the free lesson on flats fishing. Will contact you in the morning to book a trip.
