Sportfishing is a really fun time and part of the experience is the water and Islamorada Island area sightseeing. Just getting on board the nice boat and going out for the voyage is fantastic in itself. If you are planning a vacation for more than a day or two, then it is worth setting up the charter.

King Mackerel and the Lady Fish
Your best bets are the King Mackerel (This seasonal strong fighter has thick meat chunks and typically smoked) or the Lady Fish (Light spinning tackle focused fish found mostly on backcountry grassy flats). If the weather is really nice, then go for the Amberjack.

Filling up the Freezer with Fish!
It is the real deal, you can catch all sorts of fish. Tell the captain that the focus is on keepers and eating them. We wanted to fill the freezer and he made sure that came true.
