Going on a Backcountry Fishing Trip
You will see more nature and marine critters on a voyage around these classic mangrove islands. I had no idea how amazing it really is. You want good weather and bright sunlight for the most vivid overall scene. There is no shortage of beauty, lots of fish to catch and things to see.

Charter a Boat or Rent and be a Captain
It is not that big of a process to rent a boat, as we found out. Plan for a half hour as the representative has to get you up to speed. Some of the key elements that have to happen. 1 Rental representativies must do a check ride to evaluate the proficiency of renter to operate the boat safely. 2 The rental agency has to do pre-ride instruction on how to safely operate the watercraft. 3 The boat rental facility cannot rent boat vessel that does not have proper safety equipment, horsepower or load capacity.

Fishing and Drinking in the Florida Keys
After the fishing day we hit the beachside restaurant for food and very creatively made smoothies and alcohol. You have to try these: Grape-ade (Grape vodka, sprite, fresh lemon & lime juice), Mudslide (Silky Smooth Frozen Libation with Baileys Irish Cream, Kahlua and Absolut Vodka), and the Margarita (Sauza Gold Tequila, Triple Sec, Lime Juice and Lemon Mix, Salted Rim).

Combo Trips for Key Largo Sightseeing
Wait until you see the marine map, one that shows all of the zillion islands on the bay side. They go on for many miles, all the way deep into what is called Florida Bay and up into the Everglades. Just the best nature and fishing trip combination.
