If you're planning another trip to the Marathon area (middle keys) of the Florida Keys, check out Hawks Cay Island. Find it about ten minutes away on Duck Key. We brought our boat down and here you enjoy easy access to the atlantic ocean and bay side. Very tropical, they have a huge pool, tiki hut bar, dolphin feedings, boat dockage, wifi, and good value.

You have to use the Diver Flags
If you rent a boat and go snorkeling, make sure you know the diver down flag rules. The coast guard got mad at me when they caught us messing up. Here is the deal: 1 Divers-down flags displayed on boat vessels must 20 inches by 24 inches or greater. 2 Flag stiffener are required to keep the reef dive flag unfurled. 3 Boaters approaching divers-down flags have to go to idle speed when nearing the divers.

Everyday they Have Dolphin Encounters
Experience the magic of wild dolphins right up close. Ask at the front desk, but it is on the US1 side of the swimming pool area. The perfect place for children.
