You will need about an hour, especially if you like the details. There are a lot of things you can read, paintings you can stare into, and thought-provoking displays. I do like the narration provided by the tour guides. Key West has really taken off and it's historical focus. This is a town that preserves everything, just checked the building codes. Everything has to be kept just the way it is. What a great tour, just take your time and soak it all in.
