Help need with Fish Spotting
Looking for some details on some of the many fish we see all of the time in the Florida Keys. We go diving and fishing on each trip, so it is fun to learn more about the Bermuda Chub (Limits, Rules, Regulations). This fish is always in groups, seems like fifteen to twenty or more.

Key West fishing reports made easy
We enjoy so much all of your Key West fishing reports, and are totally into the cool experience on the water down here. Pine Island is our home base and now we are all about the fishing down local in the Keys. We learned tons of tips on a trip out on the Compass Rose, a top Key West sport fishing boat.

Some fish are just too messy
Caught several of these but they poop so much we only kept one to ID. Locals said no food value, not even as bait. However, we did have some luck using as cut bait. They are big, fat and fun to catch but a nasty-messy, so we avoided after the first day.

Fun to look at only
The fish are super nibblers, and are good at stealing your bait. People do not fish for them, but they are editable. They feed on small algae and floating grub.
