Video of the Pennekamp Kayak Launch
We took a nice video of the kayak launching park here in Key Largo. The location is nice, with plenty of parking and they have a refreshment center in the middle. This is a great spot, since it is safe and there are tons of people out on the water. Nothing beats the mangrove trails, they are mostly plenty wide.

Florida Keys Kayak Locations
A state park oasis hidden in the heart of Key Largo, as you cannot see much of the park from US1. Once you turn in and go through the gate, the world of watersports awaits. It's a great way to spend the day outdoors on islands...kayaking, snorkeling, canoeing and swimming in the ocean. One of our favorite bbq restaurants is right there on the other side of US1.

Good Spots for a Kayak Trip in Key Largo
The kayak launch area is just about one hundred yards from some of the mangrove trails, which are excellent to see. Bring your video and capture the scene. A super place to start your Florida Keys Kayak Adventure!

Key Largo Mangrove Trail System
Love all the flexibility, as you can go in all sorts of directions. Watch out for bugs late in the day if you go deep in the mangrove trails.
