Pick up a Flag at Divers Direct Shop
There is one thing you have to have and it is not a scuba air tank. Rather a flag to warn boaters. You follow these rules: 1 Scuba dive flags on floats must be 12 inches by 12 inches or larger. 2 Divers have to stay within 300 feet the flag on open waters. 3 Divers-down flags displayed on boat vessels must 20 inches by 24 inches or greater. 4 Boaters approaching divers-down flags have to go to idle speed when nearing the divers.

Boaters use the two Channel Cuts
All you need to know are the key highlights when boating. Pay very close attention to the signs and try to follow other boaters in and out of the passes the first time through. Tavernier Creek is the lower cut and on the upper end is Adams Cut.
