Dachshund Walk Event Key West

One of the traditions of New Year's Eve in Key West is the big dog parade celebration. What makes this event so special is the focus is on dachshunds. The dog walk party has typically started around noon and it is free, with no registration necessary. Just come on out and enjoy the Dachshund Walk. The parade gathers around Whitehead and Fleming. See you and fido there! Be sure to dress them up.

Dog Friendly Events in the Florida Keys
Very fun, as most of the owners do up their pet in a zany costume of some sort. People put some of them in carts or wagons to make a special effect. Locals here in the Florida Keys are so creative.

Weiner dogs take over Duval!
That is just too cool that events for dogs are becoming more often and so specific to dog type. We just happened to be down in the city center and ran into the parade, which even made the nightly news coverage on Keys TV. We are dog lovers and this is much better than an hour at the dog park.
