You need to do that before you go and they have photos on the wall of Clinton Square, right next door. This place is famous and was built specifically to be one of the centerpieces of the business developer's focus on making Key West a fabulous tourists destination. Yes, the aquarium is part of the plan and it still in action today. You can marvel at the history and great marine life.

It was a Hit with us!
So fun was our trip and tour of the Key West Aquarium. It just adds into the fantastic nature education of the Florida Keys.

Nice Children Friendly Fun Spot
This was the world's first open air waterfront aquarium and the building is so historic. Part of why Key West is the tourist destination today is because of this attraction. The area now has too many children friendly attractions to count.
