Where the heck did this fantastic beach zone come from. We had been coming down on vacations to the Florida Keys for years and just now discovered this gold mine of a public beach. Now this is our midway stop if we are heading down to Key West. Our two trips and stays in Marathon have been amazing.

Where visitors should go for a Beach Day! The place to hit the beach here around the Islands of Marathon! A great public beach open daily to all for sun bathing, snorkeling, swimming and you can dump in the kayak too. Bathrooms are decently clean, the outdoor shower is nice to clean off just before you leave. Plus, it is handicap accessible.
Marathon has so much fun to do! Ok, this sounds good like the perfect florida beach. I am going to stay close to here next weekend on US1. We expect to have lots of great outdoor times.

Marathon's Coolest Florida Keys Beach Lounging in a hammock by the Oceanside, it doesn't get any better, oh my. We love Marathon Public Beach.

Beach Towns that Make People Smile The middle keys are so awesome, we now mix it in to our Florida Keys Travel Plans. The places we enjoy are: Boot Key Burdines Bar, Keys Fisheries, Sparky's Waterfront, and Porky's BBQ Music.
