Our trip to the Florida Keys worked out so well. One of the very interesting places that we discovered is the Sunset Grille, at the base of the Seven Mile Bridge. They have a super blackened sandwich made from fresh yellowtail snapper, grilled or blackened to order. Enjoy the pool area, live tunes, cocktails, and views.

Movies made about the Florida Keys
Before you go on vacation down to the Florida Keys, make sure you watch this movie called True Lies. The big scene on the 7 mile bridge with the helicopter is a classic and really highlights the area. But other parts show the lobster traps, coconut palm trees, plus neat little trinkets of our great community. This movie is a legend for marathon and the Sunset Tiki Grill Bar at the in by the park.

All Smiles for Guests in Marathon Florida Keys
Everybody is all smiles at all the restaurants down here in the Florida Keys. You'll hear people talking about the fish they caught and the fish they saw on the reefs while doing a little snorkeling. What an entertaining beach and fishing town.

I think we should start to hit all the sunset dining spots....wherever, on your end (marathon) or mine (islamorada). Get a salad, chicken wings, fries, beer...See and video places at sunset! Having a super stay at the La Jolla Resort.

The Best Swimming Pool in Marathon
Prices really jump up from the lunch menu to the dinner. Do keep that in mind. Sit away from the band to relax and take the awesome scene in.
