What to Ask your Florida Keys Hotel

Having a fantastic swimming pool in the Florida Keys makes the whole vacation experience so much better. Our family jumps in all of the time, nearly anytime we are away from the attraction zone and the reef snorkeling play. Many of the hotels on the islands offer swimming pools, but those little pools do not compare. Having a water play area like this at the resort is what you do want to try to get when you are securing hotel reservations. Also, be sure to ask about pool hours of operation and what the pool water temperature is approximately.

Salute on the Beach Bar
Each night we can hit a different restaurant-bar. There are so many to try. How about the Salute on the Beach Bar at Higgs Beach!

Key West is great even in the rain!
Hi...It is time to get ready for the next super wet time, when we cannot cancel a reservation and it is pure rain. For example, what Key West has had for the last five days in a row. Pure rain. We are going to buy some things to be ready, so the fun never stops...even in a hurricane!

This is where we like to stay and take advantage of the quick access to the ocean and the big pool area for swimming.

Fancy Dining Overlooking the Atlantic
We did not know anything about the Strip House (no this is not clothing optional)! Expect an upscale experience, where you can indulge in all of the sensations along the way. Get top wines, prime cuts of meat, and signature side dishes, followed up by twenty-four layer cake. This is a scintillating night on the town.
