Time Your Visit to See Mr. Hemingway

This is such a fun place to visit. You really get to see how Hemingway and his family lived back in their day. There are tour guides to give you unique information about the home, and the six-toed cats are really neat to see. Also, do note that the home is not air-conditioned, so go early if conditions are warm. The giant shade trees, big fans, and open ventilation keeps it typically very comfortable.

The old stuff is very cool
The restorations are well done, but you get to see plenty of the original art collections, pictures, antiques, and six toed cats!

Do not Skip the Hemingway Loft
Visit the loft where he did the majority of his writing. His old typewriter is on display there too!

Feed the Six Toed Cats Too!
A visit to Ernest Hemingway's House is a great treat for most. Not so good for kids that just want to play on their smartphones and remote computers. Do not skip the free tour, way good. Pay attention to get the most out of the event. One of the featured attractions that we recommend to our travel guests.
