I am certain many of your resort guests will want to know about the free concert series we have here in Islamorada. Pops in the Park is not just for locals, visitors staying in our hotels are welcome too! The venue is fantastic at the Bandshell inside Founders Park, which is at Mile Marker 87 Bayside. The schedule of event performance dates are listed in our attached website url (Saturdays at 4pm). These are fun, and in a sweet outdoor setting on the waterfront. Do bring something to sit on and relax for a great show.
You're going to need to fuel up for the Key Largo Snorkel Boats, so we like to stop and get our sandwiches on the way down at the 1909 Cafe. Get them wrapped in foil, bagged, and you are out the door. Call ahead to have them ready or the restaurant will deliver just about everywhere in metro Miami-Dade. Here are some of the classic sandwiches, just a sample of the 1909 Cafe Menu (add website option included). In the City of Key Largo, we like the huge sandwiches at Tower Pizza and Chubs Subs by Publix. Thank you for the Florida Keys Vacation Planning help, we love you in Southwest Miami-Dade!

Gee, I just realized we need to find out the boat policy at the Hampton Inn in Islamorada. We're staying there in June and we are thinking about bringing the boat with us. We need to find out if they have slips available to use. They do have a dock but I'm just not sure about their policies and procedures for using it. The problem is that most of the hotels just list that boat dockage is available. They need to list everything about how many dock pilings are for tying up, as two poles does not work with the winds down here. We need to know about what the water depth is at the docks during both low and high tides. Do they have a hose ready so you can rinse the boat off when you pull out. Where can we park the boat trailer? Are the boats watched by video camera and security 24 hours a day. There is a lot of things a boater will need to know.
