City of Key West Locals Beach

City of Key West Locals Beach

Most people do not realize how many beach zones we have in the Florida Keys. Any place you can get wet and enjoy the ocean is just fantastic. Most of them are small like the one here at the base of Louie's Backyard. The locals in the area take advantage of this location, just so scenic and refreshing.

We stayed right near here at the Blue Marlin, six blocks or so away. It seems this is a top spot for taking fido down and letting him play in the shallow water.

This is a nice place and we put the mask on and saw lots of fish as you swim out away from the shore. No big crowds here, which we like! I love the Secret Places to See Key West and any Cozy Bar on the Waterfront is my next pick.

Hidden Beach Spots

Shoreline nature reigns here, so bring your video camcorder and be ready to shoot! You can even spot sea turtles, as this is nesting area and home to tons of little fishes and bird life. Visitors regularly spot Barracuda and dolphins too, right in the shallow waters. Big pine has the key deer, stop in there for sure.

Key Lime Pie is made. It is time to welcome in the summer beach fun! Front lawn is mowed and my girl friends has the bikini on. Please do not park on grass at any Key West Park. Catman circus kitty is looking forward to having some fun!
