Launch Mile Marker Zero

Launch Mile Marker Zero

Extra nice is this scenic park just a few hundred yards down from famous Mallory Square. Boating is hugely popular from this location. Go in either direction to circle the entire island of Key West. A lot of people stop by and drop in the kayak. What a super place for some watersports.

Boater Friendly Key West

Kayaks do have to be careful if you launch from here, there are some huge boats heading in and out of Bight Marina. There are a number of very good places to drop in a kayak around Key West. Pick a nice day with calm winds to really get into the watersports scene.

Boat Ramps

We like the carysfort Lighthouse reef area a lot. We like to stop on the way down to Key West and do a dive in Key Largo, out from card sound at a depth of three to seventy five feet. The landmark is the carysfort lighthouse mooring buoys. This is a skill level of beginner with a focus on snorkel and scuba.
