A kayak journey is a wonderful sealife encounter and we found a neat rental location. Robbie's Marina is a cute little fishing village, with waterfront dining, Kayaking, waverunners, and fishing charters. Robbie's is a great place to rent a kayak as it sits next to marked mangrove trails. It is a nice time to be out and playing around with the clear water below. Ladies like to paddle to help keep that bikini body and the guys can work their arms. You go at your own pace so do not think it is hard to do, as things go very smooth. Find this middle keys marina on the lower end of Islamorada below mile marker 78.
I thought this was about the very best thing we did on the entire week of the vacation. Kayaking is a lot better when you can look down below with nice water clarity of the Florida Keys. They have a Party Fishing boat named Captain Michael. We would recommend the party fishing boat, which is really fun to do. The kayaking is just so active since you are the one being the captain of the ship. Most people just rave over the mangrove trails, which are excellent. I like the flats area where you can see the sharks in like three feet of water. When you are kayaking in the Florida Keys, there will be sharks down below. Do not play games and dump the kayak sideways. Enjoy the views from up above and let the critters do their thing down below.
