I so much love a restaurant which prides itself on serving quality culinary creations in a quirky environment. They even have a ping pong table that gets all kinds of attention. Best to me on the menu is the caribbean bbq shrimp that is seared with jerk seasonings. Everything is yummy, plus you get the freshly baked corn bread muffins. Their Key Lime Pie is famous and made daily in the kitchen with freshly squeezed limes, and sold by the slice or whole pie to-go. The Sunday Brunch is served until 2pm. Come on down for breakfast with the roosters!
Very family-friendly is the Blue Heaven bar, where the parents can sip on a cocktail while the kids enjoy the blueberry pancakes. Just behind the ping-pong table is one of the band stands that they use periodically for live music. They play live music on top of the main bar, from the second floor, and right underneath the giant tree. You would not think of a place this small would have three different bandstand areas. Music is played peek time during lunch and dinner, but they do extra things during specific events like the Goombay Festival and Fantasy Fest. Go here if you need any kind of hangover cures and just ask your server for off hangover curing drink. They have a nice shower inside that people can pay twenty five cents to peek in and see you! Pay close attention to all the things on the wall and you will laugh.
