It is really big and probably the coolest of all the resorts down here on the islands. The rooms are very nice and all upscale, much better than my house at home. I really enjoyed the shower area and the huge kitchen. Just wait until you start to play around the amazing swimming pools.
Stayed three nights and could not have been happier with the stuff to do here. Book a stay for at least three consecutive nights to enjoy this town, a week would be a real winner. The key is getting the correct room rate.
The food and drinks are excellent at the Atlantic Edge Restaurant, which is on the backside of the hotel. They put shrimp in the Nachos Grande, that is keys style. Yes, tortilla chips layered with grilled shrimp, black beans, Peppers, red onions, tomatoes, american cheese, cilantro, sour cream and homemade salsa with key lime juice. Very good, if you tell them to hold off on the guacamole. Not a fan of the green stuff. A perfect place to eat after a Day of Fishing.
This is the resort where so many famous people have gotten married. The property is so romantically tropical, no wonder they have so many wedding ceremonies. The trick to booking at the resort is asking about the Seasonal Vacation Packages. A super hotel for couples and families.
The Cheeca Resort and Villas are prime and located directly on a Pristine Beach. I really like having an open balcony room. Two hundred feet of Private Beach pleasures, and Tiki Bar Hotel Life. A short drive or walking distance, best to use the bike to numerous fine bars or dining establishments.
