While it is famous for breakfast, go here later in the day for some cocktails and the delicious sauteed lobster tail. The kitchen does a good job with all the yummy dishes, but in lobster season I like mine cooked to perfection with white wine, butter, red onions, shallots, and scallions. You can get the Florida lobster bites english style battered and fried and served with a mix of sauces. I love the restaurant all designed around the bar. The conch fritters and french fries here are awesome. Pick your main meal then the side choices: black beans with rice, fries, chips, potato salad, cole slaw or veggies. I have to mention the really good lobster reuben! The classic superfishwich is grilled fresh catch fish on whole wheat bread with swiss cheese, thousand island dressing and tomato. All of the seafood is super fresh.
Good meals are here waiting for you. They make some fantastic hamburgers chargrilled and you can even see the grill lines in the hamburger. Everything comes out looking very delicious and will not disappoint you on each bite. I think the best thing they make here at the restaurant is the coleslaw. Homemade coleslaw goes great on fish sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, and all hot press paninis. The new restaurant really does now blow away the old restaurant. I do recommend everybody try both of the restaurants, but the new restaurant has these tables that you can look down through and there's treasures below the glass. We have discovered on the return trips heading out of the Florida Keys thinking that were going to eat here and Sunday they are closed, perhaps that'll change in the future.
