Really good food is what this old town restaurant is all about and this is a classic style Key West Cafe. It has been here forever, about the oldest place to eat on the island. There are a lot of people walking up during the morning, so expect a wait time because people love it. The menu is full and has lots of meals with fish and grits!
Very good for seafood sandwiches and you can order alcohol from the full bar. Know for the many years of serving breakfast, do not skip over an opportunity for Lunch and Dinner Daily. Very easy to find, Pepe's address is 806 Caroline Street, in the seaport area of Key West.
I worked at nearby at Barnett Bank and passed this place for a year before realizing what a great cafe it is. The exterior of the restaurant is very old looking, so on first glance you would pass it up and not think twice. Once you go into the patio The Cafe comes alive with good service and a full menu.
