Our vacation stay in the Florida Keys was for two-weeks, which gave us plenty of time to try a whole new series of restaurants. On this trip La Trattoria was the shining star, with spaghetti pasta and fettuccine alfredo dishes that pleased everyone in our group. I would try dining here and Nine One Five Bistro, Old Town Mexican Cafe, and Mrs Macs Kitchen for some yummy treats that are a bit different that the traditional grilled shrimp.
Using the cooker, I made spaghetti and handrolled meatballs tonight, just like the way they make them here at the Restaurant. I loved it so much, I got inspired. What a treat.
Their menu is huge and loaded with all sorts of great Italian recipes. I just love Italian, especially after all the walking around the city. My favorite dish is the Italian Sausage Pasta with rigatoni pasta, roasted Peppers & spicy marinara sauce.
Try the recipes and menu at Vito's, very good and the pricing is a lot better. My favorites include the Portabella Mushroom Sub, which has the portabella mushroom prepared and served on a ciabatta roll with mixed field greens, roasted red Peppers, onions and fresh mozzarella. You will like the Supreme Pizza or pick out your top ingredients. I like to put pepperoni, sausage, black olives, bacon, mushrooms, green bell peppers, red peppers and loads of onions on top.
I was so impressed with the flavors blended into the Spaghetti & Meatballs. The restaurant uses large meatballs in the recipe on spaghetti pasta and it goes so nice with toasted bread. Another good menu pick is the Chicken Bruchetta.
